  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined and form into 4 equal patties.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for 3–4 minutes per side until desired doneness.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté sliced mushrooms with minced garlic until soft. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, crumbled feta cheese, lemon juice, chopped thyme, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Assemble by stacking the cooked beef patties on plates, topping each with sautéed mushrooms and drizzling generously with thyme feta cream sauce.
