  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips
  • 12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook twisted pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear steak tips with olive oil and butter until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add heavy cream and milk; stir in cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Lower heat; mix in Parmesan and mozzarella until thickened. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Combine cooked pasta with sauce and toss well.
