  • 1.25 oz chili seasoning mix
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups macaroni (uncooked)
  • 1½ cups cheddar cheese (shredded)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and garlic; sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in the chili seasoning mix, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, and kidney beans. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Cook macaroni according to package instructions until al dente; drain using a colander.
  5. Combine the cooked macaroni with the chili mixture.
  6. In a separate saucepan over low heat, melt butter and whisk in flour. Gradually add heavy cream and milk while whisking until thickened.
  7. Stir in mustard powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, hot sauce, and shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  8. Pour the cheese sauce over the chili mac mixture; stir gently to combine and garnish with fresh parsley.
