  • 1 pound dried wagon wheel pasta
  • 1 pound hickory smoked turkey turkey bacon, diced
  • 3/4 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
  • 2 & 1/2 teaspoons hot chili sauce
  • 15 ounce can whole kernel sweet corn, drained
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 & 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 5 scallions, diced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • pinch red pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. 1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente; drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. 2. In a nonstick skillet over medium heat, sauté turkey bacon until crispy; drain on paper towels.
  3. 3. In the same skillet, cook ground beef until no longer pink; season with cumin, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  4. 4. In an extra-large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, mustard, and hot chili sauce until smooth.
  5. 5. Add cooked pasta, turkey bacon, ground beef, corn, tomatoes, cheese, and scallions; toss well to combine.
