  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, for crusting the chicken
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, for sauce
  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes, optional
  • Chopped parsley or herbs, for garnish
  • Linguine pasta

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente, drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken strips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper, then press grated Parmesan onto each piece.
  3. Sear seasoned chicken in olive oil and butter over medium-high heat until cooked through.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté garlic in remaining butter, then stir in heavy cream and chicken broth.
  5. Add softened cream cheese and whisk until smooth; gradually mix in mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan until thickened.
  6. Toss cooked linguine into the sauce until well coated.
