  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry and season with salt, pepper, and thyme.
  2. Melt half of the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken thighs for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese and return chicken to skillet to coat with sauce. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Serve immediately over pasta, rice, or your preferred side dish.
