  • 1 box favorite cake mix
  • 1 3.4 oz box instant pudding mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup frosting
  • Candy Melts (color of your choice)
  • Toppings: sprinkles, candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, and oil on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 30-40 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  4. Once cool, crumble the cake into fine pieces in a bowl and mix in the frosting until well combined.
  5. Form small balls from the mixture and chill on a lined cookie sheet for at least two hours.
  6. Melt Candy Melts in intervals until smooth. Dip lollipop sticks into melted Candy Melts and insert them into chilled cake balls.
  7. Once firm, dip the entire cake ball into melted Candy Melts and decorate immediately.
