  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup organic brown sugar + 1 tablespoon
  • 1 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (room temperature)
  • 1 cup organic pumpkin puree
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted and cooled)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup organic brown sugar (for filling)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened at room temperature)
  • 1 tablespoon dessert lover blend
  • 3 cups organic powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 4 ounces organic cream cheese (softened at room temperature)
  • 34 tablespoons cooled chai tea mixture

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let sit until frothy.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond milk, maple syrup, pumpkin puree, and eggs; mix well.
  3. Gradually incorporate all-purpose flour, artisan bread flour, chai spice blend, and salt.
  4. Add the frothy yeast mixture and melted butter to the dough; mix until smooth.
  5. Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until elastic. Place in a greased bowl and let rise for 30 minutes.
  6. Roll out the dough, spread softened butter on top, then sprinkle brown sugar and dessert lover blend evenly.
  7. Roll tightly into a log and cut into 1-inch slices.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. For the glaze, beat together softened cream cheese and powdered sugar; mix in cooled chai tea.
  10. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls before serving.
