  • ½ teaspoon rosemary
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (or alternative)
  • ½ cup beef or vegetable broth
  • ½ cup frozen peas
  • Sweet potatoes (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté diced onions until translucent.
  3. Add minced garlic, carrots, and celery; cook until softened.
  4. Stir in ground lamb and brown evenly.
  5. Mix in tomato paste, thyme, rosemary, cinnamon, Worcestershire sauce (or alternative), broth, salt, pepper, and frozen peas; simmer for about 10 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, boil peeled and cubed sweet potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and mash until smooth; season as desired.
