  • 2 1/2 cups cake flour
  • 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 2 large eggs

  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • Espresso granules

  2. Melt the white chocolate in warm milk until smooth; allow to cool.
  3. In one bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Alternate adding dry ingredients and the milk/chocolate mixture into the butter mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour batter evenly into prepared pans and bake for 22–25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool layers completely before frosting with espresso cream cheese frosting.
