  • 330 g self-raising flour
  • 360 g granulated sugar
  • 360 g butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 30 g unsweetened black cocoa powder
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 90 ml milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 400 g salted butter (for frosting)
  • 800 g powdered sugar
  • Electric green food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare baking pans with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Add softened butter and mix until crumbly.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add milk and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for about 50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cakes to cool completely.
  5. For the frosting, beat together salted butter and powdered sugar until fluffy, then add vanilla extract and food coloring.
  6. Crumble cooled cake into jars, layering it with buttercream frosting until filled.
  7. Decorate with fondant witch legs on top and sprinkles.
